Guinea Fowl

We love guineas, and they love to eat ticks, which makes us very happy! Our guineas roam Sweet Dream Farm, sounding their funny alarm whenever they perceive that anything out of the ordinary has happened. The males make a one note call, and the females a two note. That is the easiest way to tell the sexes apart. Guineas come in several colors. Pearl is the most common (the color of the ones in the photo below), and most of the guineas we have are the pearl color, but we do have a couple of lavenders.
